As my sister and me had nothing planned on one evening and we already bought a 24-hour Metro ticket, we decided to take a little walk in the city center and discover Lisboa a bit by night. As is it turned out there was literally nothing going on there at that time of the day in the middle of the week. However, we still wanted to have a look at how the city looks like when the sun went down, so we got going and climbed up the steep streets that led to Lisboas castle on the top of the city which was supposed to be the perfect spot for a great view on the city. Unfortunately, they already closed the entrance to the castle when we arrived and anyway, it would’ve cost a bit to enter, so we just climbed some stairs as high as we could get and had a great view there as well. On our way back we discovered that a lot of sights can look even more beautiful by night and now and then we took a little break to take in the bright city lights. These are some impressions of how Lisboa can look like by night!
